Day 1

Kalimpong

Start South Sikkim tour by arriving at Bagdogra airport/ NJP railway station where you will be greeted by our representative and get transferred to Kalimpong. As you reach, check-in at the homestay and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening you can head out to explore the nearby places and local market. Return back to the homestay for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Kalimpong to Gangtok

After having breakfast, check out from the homestay and get ready as your South Sikkim tour plan presents to you the most famous places of Kalimpong. First on our list is the Mangal Dham, dedicated to Lord Krishna, this temple complex is a must visit place. Next is Deolo Hills and Durpin dara hills,the highest point of Kalimpong, enjoy the birdview of Kalimpong from here. Kalimpong is situated on a ridge between two hills, Deolo hills and Durpin Dara Hill. A visit to Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden & Pine View Nursery. After this tour, travel to Gangtok. As you reach Gangtok, check in at the homestay and enjoy an overnight stay.

Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

Enjoy a delightful breakfast and embark upon the third day of your South Sikkim tour by heading towards the Tsomgo Lake, this oval shaped lake is famous for its scenic beauty. You can see migratory birds hopping around this lake. On your way, visit the Kyongnosla Lake, take a walk across this beautiful lake. Coming up next is the Baba Mandir which is 17 kms beyond Tsomgo lake. This shrine is the memorial of Baba Harbhajan Singh, a sentry of Punjab Regiment. Day 4

Gangtok to Darjeeling

After breakfast, check out from the homestay and start your drive towards Darjeeling. The South Sikkim tour package welcomes you to Darjeeling, check into the homestay and have this day on your own. In the evening, you can head for a stroll to the famous MG road and have a good time. Head back to the homestay for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 5

Darjeeling Sightseeing

Wake up at 4 am and start trekking to the top of Tiger hill to witness a golden sunrise shimmering through the Kanchenjunga Peak. On your way back, take a halt to see Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Make a stop to enjoy a filling breakfast and kickstart your sightseeing tour of Darjeeling. A visit to the Zoological park, where you get to witness various species of flora and animals. A visit to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Tibean Refugee Self Centre. Later head out to visit the Tenzing rock, where you can try rock climbing and the Japanese Temple also known as Darjeeling peace pagoda, this temple was constructed under the guidance of Monk Nichidatsu Fiji. After a full day of sightseeing, return back to the homestay for an overnight stay as the second last day of your South sikkim tour plan comes to an end.

Departure

After having breakfast, check out from the homestay and get transferred to Bagdogra airport/ NJP station for your return journey with wonderful memories of your South Sikkim tour.
