Day 1
Bagdogra Airport to Darjeeling (2042m / 3 to 4 hrs drive) (Hotel stay) - D
Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport, our airport representative and driver will receive you. Drive towards Darjeeling through a charming 4 hours journey which passes through picturesque landscapes, charming tea plantation, and scattered villages. Built on top of the ridge, Darjeeling faces the Himalaya and is a popular destination for westerners as well as for the Indians alike. Evening free to explore Darjeeling market area. Day 2
Darjeeling Full Day sightseeing (2041m / 5 to 6 hrs) (Hotel stay) - B/L/D
Today we will be covering all the sightseeing attractions of Darjeeling. An early morning trip to tiger hill to see the sunrise over Mt. Kanchendoznga. Later visit the famous Ghoom monastery that enshrines an image of the Maitreya Buddha (the coming Buddha), Himalayan mountaineering institute, Tibetan refugees center, Tea plantation, Japanese Temple, and few other attractions. Day 3
Darjeeling to Maneybhanjang (2134m/1 hrs drive) to Tonglu (3087m/11 km/6-7 hrs) (Camping/Lodge) – B/L/D
Today we Drive early morning from Darjeeling to Maneybhanjyang to start the trek. We will hike up to Tonglu (3070 m), which is 11 km from Manebhanjang and would take up to 5-6 hours to reach. En route, we will pass through pine, fir, birch, bamboo glades and reach another tiny Buddhist settlement, Chitre (2530 m). This will be a quite steep uphill climb on a stoned pathway. Crossing Chitre we will reach a small hamlet Meghma (2900m). The route bifurcates here for Tonglu and Tumling but meets again at Tumling. Tonglu is just 2 km from here and commands an excellent view of the entire Himalayan Mountains. From Tumling on clear nights, one could see dazzling night-lights of Darjeeling Kurseong, Pasupati town, and Siliguri. The trekkers' hut at Tonglu (3020m) is located on a hilltop overlooking the Sikkim Himalayas. O/N at Tonglu.

Day 4
Tonglu to Gairibas – (2621m /2-3 hrs) (Camping/Lodge) – B/L/D
Today we will undertake a pleasant walk through the forest which is home to the rare Red Panda and the Tragopan. we have to wake up early to witness the magical golden sunrise behind the Himalaya Range. It will be a rewarding day today as we will be entering the famous Singalila National Park (declared Indian National Park in 1992) and discover some exotic plants of the mountain and perhaps even spot a red panda if Fortune shines on us. After breakfast, we will begin with an easy downhill trek to Garibas (2621 m). This small village is approximately 9km from Tonglu and will take you around 3 hours to reach. En route, we will pass through the simpler walks of life, a quaint hamlet, their modest farmlands, and lots of bamboo glades. O/N at Gairibas.

Day 5
Gairibas to Sandakphu – (3636m/5-6 hrs) (Camping/Lodge) - B/L/D
After breakfast, start the trek to Sandakphu (3636m) which takes about 6 hrs crossing exciting Kalipokhari on the way. At Kalipokhari (Black Lake) as the name suggests we will witness a small dark-colored lake amidst pine trees and fluttering prayer flags. The highlight of the entire Singalila Trekking route also called the ‘paradise of trekkers - Sandakphu (3636 m) commands an expansive 360-degree view from the top and a spectacular vista of the entire Himalayan belt. The towering pinnacles in Nepal - Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Sikkim’s Guardian Deity Mt.Kanchendzonga and Mt.Pandim all appear at the horizon in a continuous arc. While the foreground valley is surrounded by hills covered with rhododendrons and silver fir trees. It is a magical place to spend a Day and night. Overnight at Sandhakphu

Day 6
Sandakphu to Phalut – (3600m/2-3 hrs) (Camping/Lodge) – B/L/D
Today we will again wake up early in the morning to witness the golden rays of the morning sun shining on the white snow of the Himalayas Mountains. The trail from Sandakphu to Phalut is one of the most spectacular, Scenic, and Enjoyable. We will cross through thick rhododendron, oak, pine trees but the burned silver fir forest makes the most of the beautiful and dramatic landscape. we might spot some yak herds at the lakesides on the way and we will also visit the roofless stone house on a small hillock in Sabarkum close by. At the same time, the whole range of snowy peaks is always in view and the trail passes through high altitude vegetation. O/N at Phalut

Day 7
Phalut to Rammam – (2560m/5-6 hrs) (Camping/Lodge) – B/L/D
Wake up early morning to witness the magical sunrise behind the prodigious Himalayas Mountains. Today from Phalut the trail descends downhill and takes us through the thick virgin forest of chestnut, pines, hemlock, and more. After breakfast starts walking through Gorkhey Khola, this freshwater stream where two small streams meet. One can swim for a short period in the running stream to devour the freshness of this freshwater if weather favors. Later resume trekking to Rammam via Samandin. O/N at Ramam

Day 8
Rammam to Rimbik – (2286m/6-7 hrs) (Camping/Lodge) – B/L/D
Today is the last day of the sandhakphu Darjeeling trek. The trek is about 19km from Ramman to Rimbik. The road is almost level for 9km and then descends to reach Sirikhola (river). From here we will hike uphill to reach Rimbik. En route, we will be passing through quaint hamlets and their farmlands. O/N at Rimbik

Day 9
Rimbik to Yuksam (1785m/7-8 hrs drive) (Hotel stay) – B/L/D
Today after breakfast we will drive towards Yuksam, Sikkim via Ramam / Melli check post for further trek onto Sikkim side. On the way, we will stop at a check post for Inner Line Permit formalities and paperwork. Today’s drive will be through beautiful Himalayan terrain, tea garden, and picturesque forest. Upon arrival at Yuksam check into Hotel. Evening free to explore the beautiful small Yuksam village. O/N at Yuksam

Day 10
Yuksam rest and short hiking (1785m/3 to 4 hrs) (Hotel stay) – B/L/D
After breakfast at around 9.30 am walk uphill for an hour or so through the beautiful dense semi tropical forest to visit the Sikkim’s oldest monastery DUBDI MONASTERY. After spending your good time in the monastery walk back to Yuksam village through the subba community village along with the visit to KATHOK LAKE. After lunch visit the CORONATION THRONE and NORBUGANG CHORTEN. Evening free to explore Yuksam. O/N at Yuksam

Day 11
Yuksam to Tshoka (3050m/13 km/6-7 hrs) (Camping/huts) – B/L/D
We begin our trek today through a small village and stop at the Kanchendzonga National Park, check post for checking formalities. Continue to walk through semi-tropical forests, home to a variety of flora and fauna. Crossing the last of the two hanging bridges over rivers Paha Khola and Tshuchey, we arrive at Sachen. Break for lunch and continue to walk to Bahkim. We cross a long old swinging bridge over Prek-Chu, it’s a steep climb of 70 degrees uphill to Bakhim and we continue climbing steeply to the Tibetan Refugee settlement of Tsokha as we trek through pine and giant rhododendron forests. Here we also get our first view of Mt.Pandim (6780m) and Mt. Tenchinkhang which could be seen from all points of our trek. Tshoka itself is a small abandoned village consisting of about a dozen houses and monasteries, inhabited by the Tibetan refugees. O/N at Tshoka

Day 12
Tsokha to Dzongri (4030m/9kms/ 5-6 hrs) (Camping/huts) - B/L/D
Today we continue our uphill journey through the temperate forest till Phedang (3550m), a large clearing in the forest with excellent views of the Kanchenjunga range of mountains. After lunch, it’s a 40 min steep walk, as we reach the ridge’s top, Deorali Dara, or Windy hill which one gets the awesome views of the Sikkim Mountains and its peaks. A nice leisurely hour walks through the rhododendron trees and juniper bushes before we reach Dzongri. O/N at Dzongri

Day 13
Dzongri Acclimatization / Dzongrila (4300m/40 mins) (Camping) - B/L/D
Rest day for acclimatization. Rise early at dawn, a 30-40 mins steep hike amidst thin air to Dabla Gang (Dzongri-la OR viewpoint) to view the sunrise on Kangchenjunga and the neighboring peaks; Rathong 6683m; Kokthang 6150m; Kabru Dome 6604m and Forked Peak 6116m. Return to camp for breakfast. Free to explore, Day hike to Laxmi Pokhari or take a walk toward the Black peak for acclimatization from where we can see Frey’s peak and the Rathong valley. Return to the campsite. O/N at Dzongri

Day 14
Dzongri to Thangsing (3930m/6 kms/5-6 hrs) (Camping) - B/L/D
The day’s walk starts with a short climb to a ridge followed by a rapid steep descend of 100m to Kockchurung and Prek river. Continue crossing some boulders and climb gently to the campsite of Thangsing for our lunch with a view of Mt. Pandim and Mt. Kanchenjunga. O/N at Thangsing.

Day 15
Thangsing to Lamune (4130m/6km/3-4 hrs) (Camping) - B/L/D
A gentle 2-3 hrs walk to camp at Lamune. While the camp is set up, we take a walk to Samiti Lake, 4453m with Kanchenjunga looming ahead of us. The trail goes past stunted rhododendron bushes, azaleas, and past a prayer wall before ascending a moraine path to a ridge from where you can look down at Samiti Pokhari (4200m) a beautiful and sacred lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks Mt. Kanchandzonga, Mt. Pandim, and Mt. Thenchinkhang. Return to camp for lunch. O/N at Lamune.

Day 16
Lamune to Goechala (4940m/14km/5 hrs) to Thangsing (2 hrs) (Camping) - B/L/D
Early morning excursion to Goechala (pass), one walk along the moraine path by the side of Samiti lake to view the east face of Mt. Kanchendzonga bathed in the rays of the early sun. We cross the ½ km sandy plain known as Zemathang, footprints of Bluesheeps and other animals are common sighting. After 2 hours, we arrive at the 1st viewpoint of Goechala and walk further 2 hours to the 2nd viewpoint to enjoy the close-up views of Mt. Kanchendzonga 8534m. Return to camp for late lunch and later walk to Thangshing campsite or Kockchurung campsite some 30 minutes below. O/N at Thangsing

Thangsing to Tsokha (3050m/12km/ 5-7 hrs) (Camping/huts) - B/L/D
After breakfast, trek back the same trail till Kockchurung, from where we take another trail via Phedang to Tshoka. Hot lunch at Phedang and continue to walk to Tshoka. O/N at Tshoka.

Tsokha to Yuksom (1750m) (hotel stay)
After breakfast trek back to Yuksom the same way. Hot Lunch on the halfway or can ask for pack lunch to staff/cook. O/N at Yuksam

Yuksam to Bagdogra Airport (6-7 hrs drive)
Drive towards Bagdogra Airport to board a flight back home with wonderful memories.
