Mt. Jopuno is categorized as a difficult trekking and climbing peak. It has been graded as a difficult level climbing peak as one has to overcome some technical sections along the way. Though it has been categorized as a difficult level peak you do need not be an expert climber having lots of technical climbing experience for summiting this peak. Instead, you require a basic level of mountaineering skills, the experience of some high-altitude treks, passion, and confidence. Rest our expert and professional Sherpa climbing team will take care!
Previous alpine climbing experiences are beneficial but it is not necessary to climb Mt. Jopuno. The climb involves above 55000m height with some difficulties so one needs to be physically fit, healthy, and used to high-altitude trekking with basic knowledge about climbing gears and equipment.
The entire trekking route during the expedition is well laid out and friendly till the Mt. Jopuno base camp. The only possible section where one might face some difficulties is between base camp to camp 1 and camp 1 to summit push.
