Dafey Bhir Trek is categorized as a moderate to difficult level trek and involves long trekking days with quick altitude gain on some days. It is rated as a moderate to difficult level trek because it requires lots of endurance and exposes you to high altitude sickness.

The terrain on the Dafey Bhir Trek is very friendly even though it has an uneven and uphill trail which sometimes makes walking difficult and tiring.  

This trek climbs from 2012m (6600 ft) to 4530m (14,860 ft) in 5 to 6 days. The height gain and climb on this trek is one of the main challenges which may sometimes expose you to the risk of high-altitude sickness if you are not careful and prepared.

The difficulties which you may encounter during the Dafey Bhir Trek depending upon your itineraries are

Uttarey (2012m) to Chiwa Bhanjyang (3248m) trek in one day - where you will be trekking for 5 to 6 hrs and gain around 1200m.

Chiwa Bhanjyang (3248m) to Phoktey Dara (3700m) – Early morning trek to Phoktey Dara viewpoint where you will be trekking for 3 to 4 hours and gain 500m.

Lam Pokhari (4300m) to Dafey Bhir View Point (4530 m) - Early morning visit to a viewpoint where you will be trekking for 30 to 40 minutes and gain around 250m.
